I did it. I broke out my over-the-knee boots. It just felt like time. Once I’ve visited at least one orchard and played a sad song for the end of summer, I’m in full embrace of fall mode. And from leather boots to a wool felt hat I couldn’t be any happier. All these neutral colors and earth tones have been right on par with a rainy week in the city. I’m also back to my ways of mixing brown and black but loving the addition of gray for a cozy style.
This weekend we are looking forward to the wedding of our friends (who were highschool sweethearts, by the way, which I still think is kind of magical). After that it’s a mash up of laundry, some meal planning, and loving on our crazy kittens. If you’re in the Boston area this weekend, my siblings recently opened a stellar supper club restaurant right in downtown: Yvonne’s is the hotspot and I highly recommend their Honey Bee cocktail.
