I have this recurring experience where I walk into a clothing store completely forgetting I’m pregnant. I want to browse all the new spring styles and scoop up great deals. Then, it unfortunately hits me that none of them will be wearable right now. And I’d rather not spend a chunk of money on clothes I’ll only be wearing for a few more weeks. So, instead, I’ve been combing my closet for pieces that can transform into a similar trend to what I’m currently loving. Lately, the sheer overlay dress is my hot ticket item. It pulls together a playful, feminine vibe with a more sexy yet unique approach. I’ve seen it paired over shorts, pants, or just a slip to make a statement piece for this season. My paisley version came with a camisole that I’ve since detached and worn just the outer piece over leggings (or even jeans). It feels light and flowy so could easily go from dressy to casual.

Below I rounded up some similar styles that (hopefully) make their way into my post-baby wardrobe!
