Seeing the Hollywood starlets in their Golden Globe gowns last Sunday was like watching a living art show. Each dress was dramatic, had personality, yet remained feminine all at once. It’s pretty astounding to consider the manpower that goes into one single piece of clothing. And that type of breathtaking fashion is not something I routinely come across (I know, shocking that we don’t all start our Wednesdays in Dior couture). But I catch glimpses of that beauty in pieces like this ombre dress. I adore the fluid colors and playful bell hemline. The material is sturdy yet the fit is flattering and gives me the I’m-kind-of-wearing-something-magical feeling. So since there’s no red carpet rolled out on this hump day, I offset the romantic pink tones with more masculine leather accents.
