pulling off statement tights

I’ve never been one to think I could convincingly wear statement tights. The first time I attempted the style was in college. And I worried the entire time that it looked like a bad eighties costume. But recently I’ve been looking for ways to revitalize that trend. Since bare legs are typically a bad idea during the winter months, it’s nice to have these as an alternative. So I developed my own approach to pulling off statement tights. This look takes a minimalist approach with neutral colors and complementing leather textures. With just some slight detailing on the sweater, the tights don’t clash against that design. It’s a baby step into the boldness and maybe I’ll get a bit more adventurous as time goes on.
