This weekend was possibly the most productive E and I have been since being married. I know it sounds crazy, but after two years of owning our condo, I finally (almost) feel settled. There were little things nagging at me with decor and organization that hadn’t been done. I got my final kick of motivation last week with a post from Love, Taza (she’s a daily read of mine and has three precious little ones making crush-worthy memories in NYC). She shared about apartment living and a family of five. It really impacted me when it comes to making a space your own. Whether temporary or permanent, small changes make a big difference: hang pictures, paint the walls, move in. So we spent the majority of our time the past two days following that advice. With very little blood, lots of sweat, and luckily no tears, our home is coming right along. By night, though, we were ready for a little reward time. This mesh floral midi skirt made the perfect romantic outfit for a walk along the water. And nothing clears your head for the start of a new week like harborside sunsets.
