the wild tundra

Well folks, I don’t know what cabin fever feels like, but I’m pretty sure with all this snow we’re getting close. I love the first couple of storms when being indoors and baking treats or playing games seems like total bliss. But by storms three, seven and nine I am itching for warm weather, oceanside walks, and our upcoming vacation (stay tuned). Yesterday’s only excursion was a quick trip to the grocery store for essentials. No strappy heels or floral dresses for this one–I bundled tightly with all my favorite basics and added a statement necklace for good measure. These boots are my saving grace in any messy weather. Here’s to making the best of a snowy situation and the start of another New England week.
