Over the weekend I pulled out all my sweaters from storage. What struck me was how few of them had bold color. For the most part they’re fairly muted or have understated patterns. So I guess that’s a trend in my winter wardrobe. With pieces like this sherpa jacket, I choose to layer together neutrals and create one cohesive look. Keeping the white or lighter tones on the outside offers that pop of color without being obvious. My ‘method’ offers an easy approach to earth tones that makes them anything but boring.
Are you one for bright colors or subtle hues in winter time?
