packing for NYFW 2016

I’ve got a whirlwind trip planned for Fashion Week this year. It’s going to be a busy thirty-six hours but I’m excited to soak up every minute. So fitting it all into one (or even three) bags has been my challenge. To keep things simple, I go outfit by outfit so there’s little thought to ‘what am I wearing’ during transitions from one event to another. Here’s a look at what I’m packing for NYFW and a few bonus items I wish were going with me. Click directly on a product to shop or follow the links listed below.

one: a duster length vest for contrasting layers

two: this minimalist timepiece for function + fashion

three: sleek black mules for transitional footwear

four: an off-the-shoulder top in timeless stripes

five: eclectic ear cuff + stud combo

six: wrap front suede skirt in a classic length

seven: easily stowed earbuds with carrying case

eight: a camel robe coat for endless outfit options

nine: crop jeans with a raw hem for comfortable travel

ten: this statement blouse with dramatic ruffle detailing

eleven: an appliqué bag to haul daily necessities

twelve: elevated LBD that works from day to night

thirteen: blush sneakers with a retro vibe

fourteen: busted knee denim in light wash + loose fit

fifteen: sexy, strappy pumps for nighttime occasions

sixteen: a carry-on backpack that’s street style appropriate

seventeen: choker jewelry with a wrap effect

eighteen: oversized plaid poncho whether belted or left alone

nineteen: square neck scarf as a finishing touch

twenty: portable iPhone charger cause it’s going to die twice a day
