We recently met friends for an early breakfast before scooting off to church. The morning was humid and our condo felt boiling, so I couldn’t bear to wear anything but lightweight neutrals. And, although there used to be some faux pas feelings about it, mixing summer whites is one of my favorite ways to embrace warm weather. Pulling in cream colors with more crisp tones gives an elegant approach. But, in order to not look stuffy with both a button-down and pencil skirt, I tied a knot in my shirt for the casual vibe.
