Let’s just be honest here: a ‘little leather skirt’ is not something I imagined loving, let alone wearing repeatedly. But so far I’ve debuted this fall piece twice in the past week. Since it’s a vegan fabric the skirt has some give and flatters a figure (read between the lines: your rear end isn’t on major display). I paired it first with a buttondown and here with this oversized sweater. It actually lends itself as a great contrast to other fabrics and patterns. So it’s easy to play up or down but also offers that modern edge. And with my 5’9 stature, I’m opting for flats instead of heels; that’s my tall-girl-in-a-mini skirt compromise.
