chic winter outerwear with a snood and leather jacket

Paridaez snood, Raison d’Etre jacket (sold out, similar here), Anthropologie sweater, AG corduroys, Sam Edelman boots

I can’t speak to global warming. But if this fifty degree December weather is a by-product, I’m having a hard time hating it. However, the years of New England experience tell me winter storms are in the near future. And finding chic outerwear is a bonus to enduring the cold months. I recently had the opportunity to check out Paridaez, a Boston-based clothing company geared toward simplicity and versatility. Their pieces transform in multiple ways to create a mini wardrobe of their own. The ‘snood’ (a scarf/hood) I’m wearing here is called The Hummingbird. It’s actually a skirt hybrid that can be worn three ways. I love discovering these types of alternative to standard accessories that make getting dressed simple and a bit creative.

This weekend my sister is visiting from New York City and I’ve sort of lost myself with excitement. It’s truthfully not far away at all but she might as well be coming from Australia for how giddy I am. We’re going to break into full holiday overload with cookie baking, meal making, and Elf watching. The saga continues on Instagram + Snapchat @onebrassfox.

On the eighth day of Christmas one brass fox is giving to you a striped wood serving board from Lekker Home. This store is everything I want my future house to be.
