When E and I were engaged, a married friend of ours gave us this advice: any traditions you plan to hold as a family, start right away. So, in addition to advent calendars and pajama presents on Christmas Eve, one of the holiday traditions I knew we wanted to start was sending out a Christmas card. December is always the best mail month of the year. That’s due in part to the fact that I love seeing pictures of dear friends and reading snippets of their life. To be honest, ours really aren’t heavy on the text. That might change in the future with kids and us feeling like there’s more to share. For now it’s an image (or more) paired with a sweet holiday greeting sent out to all of our loved ones. And today I’m sharing some behind-the-scenes shots from our holiday photos taken by the multi-talented Mallory. We kicked the elegance up a notch in contrast to last year and had so much fun twirling (well, I twirled; E’s not a twirler) through this nearby rose garden.
On the ninth day of Christmas one brass fox is giving to you an Urban Expressions vegan snake print clutch from Crush Boutique. This cozy Boston shop is where all girlfriends hope their boyfriends will shop. The ladies there know the top designers trends and chic urban brands. Whether apparel, accessories, or just a sweet spot to browse, their selection takes holiday gifting to the next level.
A tremendous thank you to Neiman Marcus in Copley Place for partnerning with us on this post.
