Last Sunday E and I took a quick walk in the woods after church. On the North Shore of Boston there’s this incredible ‘rail trail’ that creates a pathway through the towns. So we made that our destination for the day. Peak foliage season has really kicked in and we wanted to take advantage of the scenery. As I’d broken out my blush wool coat for the first time this year we grabbed a few pictures of a simple yet classic look. Draping it over my shoulders creates a sophisticated effect that’s perfect for fall. It also plays on the functionality whereas in winter the coat layers well over chunky sweaters.
I’ve linked to some of my favorite pink coats of the season at the bottom of this post.
