Over the past week I’ve been a bit Snapchat-happy with different events. From the opening of Primark to a tasting at my siblings’ upcoming restaurant (Yvonne’s), I’ve wanted to share every nano-second of the amazingness. The former was four floors of trendy clothing, impressive pricing, and a magical digital experience. The latter, a forty two course meal (well, that’s what it felt like) of imaginative dishes served on lustworthy ceramics with a side of punchy cocktails. No complaints here, but I could go for a few more days of rest. Instead we’re diving into a short work week before it’s off to New York City! E gets so energized at the thought and I worry about what to wear. But a no-brainer packing piece will be this sleeveless sweater dress. The ribbing creates a flattering detail so it’s not tugging in all the wrong places. For end of season wear it’s great by itself; but come late fall and winter I’ll be finding ways to layer over jeans or a shirt dress for added warmth.
