Multiple times this weekend E made comments to me about how my demeanor changes with the weather. Our first string of a few warm days and I, apparently, brighten right up. It’s something I never quite realize until someone else points it out. But I’m certainly affected by the seasons. My ability to withstand freezing temperatures has its limits. So in honor of that improved mood and encouraging forecast, I pulled out a perfect spring transition look. The one essential piece in my wardrobe for this time of year is a trench coat. Having a medium-weight layer that provides both fashion and function is necessary. The unstructured collar of this one makes it feel both feminine and less stiff than other traditional trench coat options. And with simple knot details on the cuff, there’s an added appeal without being too obvious.
