In our last home, I always considered artwork to be the final say in finishing touches. But, since moving to our current space, I’ve realized that title has to be shared. When we first walked through at an open house, I immediately noticed the bland light fixtures. They were cookie-cutter, unoriginal, and definitely uninspiring. I made a mental note that, were we to buy this house, they’d need to be replaced immediately. That epiphany moment showed me just how much statement lighting completely changes the feel, aesthetic, and vibe of a room. So I’ve taken my time in searching out the most cost effective options that offered maximum impact while accommodating our budget. E and I even taught ourselves how to install ceiling fixtures in order to save on electrician fees (props to YouTube for being the world’s best source of all DIY info).
So today I wanted to pull together some various options that mix metals, textures, and styles for a dramatic home finish. From floor to ceiling, the above list collection has you covered. Click on any product in the image to shop it directly or use the descriptions below.
