red wine chocolate loaf

red wine chocolate loaf recipe - one brass fox

You know how everyone says that red wine and chocolate go well together? Well, forget having to take a bite then a sip. Now you can have it all at once! This red wine chocolate loaf is the height of decadence. It makes for quite a dense treat as the alcohol doesn’t allow the mixture to rise very much. But every morsel is packed with flavor and a hint of boozyness. Surprisingly, it’s not overly sweet, so we served alongside a couple scoops of espresso ice cream. See full details below (and remember, chocolate + red wine = double the antioxidants; it’s science, people, not junk food).
