I don’t usually ascribe to whether or not the groundhog sees it’s shadow. That’s mostly because I prefer fierce optimism and to just deny the idea of winter lasting any longer. But, this year, it’s in my favor: Punxsutawney Phil saw no shadow and spring has sprung. This weekend was blissful. We took a walk along the beach, enjoyed an extended afternoon of outdoor errands, and treated ourselves to some pre-Easter candy (because, why not). And this drape front coat in muted lilac is undoubtedly a favorite color and cut for the coming season. An oversized collar and chic leather detailing made the wardrobe transition effortless. So I’m remaining hopeful that the forecast for the week will let me keep up this simple style formula.
