It has arrived! The weekend of stunning dresses, shortened speeches, and well-deserved nominations. The Academy Awards are on Sunday and we are hosting a Musser Loft red carpet event. Once the star-studded night is over, I will share full details and decor. For now, a sneak peak at the party favors.
In my opinion, favors (no matter how small or inexpensive) are that simple added touch. They are the “extra mile” of being host & hostess. I also love how the small gesture makes a lasting memory for time shared. For these Oscar party favors, I purchased Oriental Trading supplies and used some leftover gold Christmas ribbon (similar here). Keeping with a gold and silver color scheme, I purchased gold star bags, Hershey’s kisses, matte gold candies, and adorable keychain clapboards. Putting equal portions into each bag, I then tied a simple knot with the gold ribbon. These little pieces make for the perfect sweet treat at the end of Oscars night.
