ombre halter

I never hopped on the ombre hair trend. I’ve seen a few looks that were stellar, but couldn’t move past the idea that I’d just be showing dark roots. I will, however, play up ombre styles in my wardrobe. This dress is a playful piece with easy movement and a sheer overlay. I only wear it belted, since the dress’ original structure is a bit baggy. The belt offers shape in a complementing color.  The white accents offset the blues and gave an ethereal, sky quality to the look. I love exploring new, less conventional necklines for spring that show a bit more skin without being too revealing.
