After just undergoing a major move and minor home renovations, I can tell you that I am *actually* dusting off this old keyboard. It’s time for me to revisit the writing world and tiptoe back into business.
I may delve more into this in future posts, but I’ll just say briefly here how the last eighteen months have been wild. From pre-pregnancy with our fourth, up until now having an 8 month old, it feels like I’ve been running on empty (with a heaping helping of adrenaline).
In my wee early pregnancy days, I soft-launched a new business venture. But after health concerns and complications arose, I decided to step back from it until a later date. Well, today is that date. I am honored and ecstatic to intro you to OBF events. We are a virtual event planning and design firm. We’ll take whatever ideas you can throw our way and turn them into unforgettable celebrations.
Okay, sounds fetch—but what does it actually mean? Think of us like those virtual interior design sites. The ones where you send pictures of your space, what you want it to look or feel like, a budget, and they do the rest. We’re like that, but for parties.
Events have always been a passion of mine. They’re an opportunity to create, to make impressions, to personalize, and to honor. Birthdays, holidays, graduations, you name it—my family has a history of making them big deals. And it’s not for the sake of Pinterest or Instagram. It’s because we love the joy of engaging others in meaningful ways.
