Hairo #12DaysofChristmas

leather and suede oxblood boots outfit inspiration

Ellen Tracy coat, Ann Taylor top + clutch, Zara jeans, Dept. of Finery boots, Mac ‘D for Danger’ lipstick

I have a fashion bucket list. It’s not written down or stored anywhere yet always in the back of my mind. There are certain things I’m constantly hunting; and I often warn E that, once I’ve found that perfect version, I’m going to (want to) act fast. For the past year or so oxblood boots have been at the top of this list. There’s something so elegant yet edgy in the name and appearance. It’s a timeless color that blends easily into any modern look. So when I met the Dept. of Finery brand back in September at Axis Show, it was a match made in heaven. These suede and leather beauties are one more check on my wish list and just about the prettiest item ever added to my shoe collection. They dress up a distressed denim look or add a pop of color to the standard holiday little black dress.

This is it–the twelfth day of Christmas. I have loved every opportunity to share with you the local brands that make this city of Boston a rare gem. Thank you for following along, entering, and taking an interest in their craft. I am passionate about the creative community and look forward to many more years of highlighting retailers. With that said, onto the final giveaway: on the twelfth day of Christmas one brass fox and Hairo are giving one lucky winner a complimentary blow dry at the salon on Newbury Street. Just in time for those holiday festivities, stylists are at the ready to make your hair look like it jumped off the pages of Vogue. Enter to win below.
