cinched ankle pants

Freshman year of college I met someone who quickly became my style icon. She could wear anything, put together the perfect outfit, and accessorize like a pro. We are friends to this day and recently traveled together with our husbands to Mexico. While there, she wore a pair of cinched ankle pants that I absolutely loved. One day she’d pair them with a t-shirt and the next they’d be dressed up by an embellished top and statement jewelry. I adore that type of versatility and her description of them as “socially acceptable sweatpants” had me sold. Right when we came home I scooped up this similar pair from Old Navy. They are easily my new summer favorite. E and I went out this weekend for a sweet date night and a beaded top gave the right elegant accent to the casual silhouette.
