Last weekend we celebrated the first event in our new home. It felt intimidating and exciting and (at least in my own head) way underprepared. But Amelie’s a ‘whole hand’ old now. So, per her request, we threw a bunny birthday party. The cherry on top was finding a local college student who created a full bunny experience. The kids got to meet her sweet pet, make a salad, read a book, and learn a bunny song.
I went simple on food and did a ‘cakeover’ with a store-bought option instead of making one fully from scratch. Decorations were all DIY, themed tableware is my love language, and these are the best semi-disposable cups ever.
