black turtleneck

chunky plaid scarf with black turtleneck and destroyed jeans

Banana Republic blazer, Capezio turtleneck, Vigoss jeans, Reiss heels, Ann Taylor bag, Mac ‘D for Danger’ lipstick

Full disclosure: this turtleneck is a bodysuit. It zips right up the back and takes cozy (read: second-skin status) to a whole new level. But that also spikes it’s chic factor off the charts. The piece layers perfectly under a blazer or sweater without creating bulk. And I find myself constantly pairing rich tones with bold patterns, like this emerald bucket bag and blanket scarf. I’ve also recently been getting into slingback heels. The style used to strike me as outdated, but these Reiss  beauties changed my mind. So, while the temperatures continue to dip, I’ll be rewearing some variation of this outfit all week.

As Halloween is now behind us, it’s almost full-speed-ahead into the holiday season. I have a cornucopia of exciting things planned for these upcoming months and I can’t wait to share them with you. The jolliness will commence next week (and I’m pretty sure that means I can start over-watching The Family Stone for yet another year).
