Over the past couple of months E and I have been working on closet cleansing. We both tend to hang onto pieces we haven’t worn in years (and probably wouldn’t ever wear again). I guess it comes down to a fear of being wasteful. That’s most apparent with our outerwear collection. I kid you not when I say there are coats I’ve owned since 1994. But we’ve been paring them down to our essentials and packing up the others for giveaway. (Side note: since we’re heading into the colder months it’s a great time to be donating coats–everyone needs them! We donate to either Savers or Big Brother, Big Sister).
