This weekend was one for the books. We celebrated E’s birthday with surprises on top of surprises. I flew his brother in from the Midwest, treated them to a tennis match at the Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, and shuttled in both sides of the family for an after-match lunch. It was truly priceless and gave us so much joy to be surrounded by loved ones. Needless to say, that set a pretty good tone going into Monday. And I decided to mix a bit of business and pleasure with these belted wide leg trousers. Their pleated waistline makes for a minimalist accent that plays perfectly off of fringed sandals.
Cheers to a first full week of June and summer really starting.
