This Friday could not come soon enough. For the last month-ish I’ve had an itch to travel. So to fight the winter cabin fever, we booked a last minute getaway to Newport. E has never been and it’s one of my favorite East Coast spots for architecture as well as seaside living.
And that leads me to something exciting: in addition to bringing home decor to one brass fox this year, I’m ecstatic to be expanding travel coverage as well. When we were dating + engaged, we traveled all over the world (study abroad, family trips, friends getaways). But life set in a bit after marriage and we took (too long of) a travel hiatus. So we’ve agreed to prioritize that once again. And E has his wardrobe all set with this crewneck sweatshirt and cable knit sweater. We’ll be fighting the ocean winds in style.
