This weekend we relived a ‘day in the life of our college dating selves.’ It felt like such a sweet, simple way to reminisce. Saturday was spent walking the streets of Salem, popping in and out of antique shops, and sipping the best lattes around. While it’s fun to mentally go back to those times, it also presents an opportunity to be grateful for where we’ve landed in life. But, to be honest, one of the things I don’t always want to revisit would be some of the fashion decisions during those years. Oversized belt buckles, unflattering ruffles, I tried them all (sorry, no photo evidence provided). Yet, with that said, I still love finding ways to revamp staples. An all black ensemble will never go off trend; but, making that feel current is the challenge. This fur trim cardigan and sheer blouse accomplish a look that’s both feminine and edgy. So faux leather is kicking off this week with some feistiness.
