Do you ever have those weekends that wind up busier than your week? That was how I spent the past two days. I sometimes feel the need to cram every possible errand into what was supposed to be a relaxing time. Sunday night becomes a crash moment of realization where Monday seems closer than it should. But on the other hand, I am always grateful for productivity and time well spent.

My weekend outfits consist mostly of versatile pieces with comfort as priority. I love to use interesting clutches or dramatic earring to complement a relaxed outfit. I’ve heard the old adage, “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have,” and often apply that to my daily wardrobe. If I stayed in sweatpants all morning, I’d never want to leave the house. But putting together pieces that are energetic and flexible prepares me for the tasks ahead. So I’ll adapt a bit and say, “Dress for the day you want!”
