A few weeks ago we kicked off our full roster of summer weddings at the most gorgeous botanic gardens. The affair was black tie and had me stumped for a while on what to wear. Every season carries with it different wardrobe requirements. So what may be cocktail dressing in winter is really black tie in summer. What I settled on was this silk lace gown with a front slit and sweet bustier buttons. It felt just whimsical enough to match our floral surroundings while still elegant enough for the upscale occasion.
