This whole look feels like a “Clueless” throwback straight out of Cher’s (a.k.a. Alicia Silverstone) iconic closet. And while I don’t own many crop tops, it’s a fun way to keep them on seasonal rotation. Similarly, this pale pink blazer was a spring/summer purchase that’s given my winter outfits a soft, finishing touch. 

Today we are jetting off to New York for the second installment of family Christmas and some secret birthday plans E has been prepping for me (birthday is tomorrow). Now, I used to think “quarter century crises” were a joke; but it’s real folks. The best way I can think to describe it is like a mini, internal spark. It gradually grows over year twenty-four and suddenly gets a burst of flame right at the turn of twenty-five. The old cliche seems truer now than ever: time flies! But instead of being mopey or regretful of time gone by, I am grateful; I am motivated. And I am looking forward to whatever joys, challenges, and successes this next year holds.
