Raison d’Etre jacket (love this), Motown sweatshirt, HUE leggings, Stuart Weitzman boots
A few weeks ago my mom, sister and I took a trip out to Detroit to visit our other, recently-relocated sister. While I can’t claim it’s my new favorite city or anything, there’s a lot more beauty, architecture, and history than I expected. One thing I discovered (and probably should’ve learned earlier in life) is that it was the birthplace of Motown. We toured the Motown museum and literally stood on the same spot as greats like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Four Tops. Naturally, I scoured the gift shop because I’m a sucker for branded chotchkies. Let me tell you, this oversized sweatshirt is one of the greatest purchases of my life. My mom and sisters can count on one hand the times they’ve seen me without it since we got back. They had two left in stock (the fact that it’s a XXL didn’t phase me one bit). I’ve molded a whole new level of casual maternity style around this one piece. And today’s look is all about how I’m classing up the graphic sweatshirt for an acceptable-to-wear-in-public look.
