It took me until halfway through winter to finally settle on a pair of over-the-knee boots. I wanted a slight heel, slim leg and luxe fabric. These brown suede lovelies checked all three of those boxes. But my delayed decision meant less time to actually enjoy or wear them. So, instead of preparing to pack them away, I’m finding ways to bring an over-the-knee look to life again as spring boots. A flirty fit-and-flare hemline contrasts the body-hugging boots. And opting for brighter tones like this white dress or light wash denim jacket offset the dark texture. I’m also thinking a future ensemble of distressed skinny jeans with a simple tank could accomplish that refreshing vibe as well.
