When spring weather comes back around I get caught between wanting to drench myself in pastel colors or skew toward a completely neutral look. Maybe it’s the fact that my skin continues to be the color of snow (come to me, Vitamin D) where I feel bolder colors will drown me. But either way, I’ve comboed a bit of both in today’s outfit. This ruffled blouse coupled with a ruffled leather jacket feel romantic yet still create a statement. And the distressed denim is going strong. I seem to be accumulating more and more pairs recently; they feel effortless and perfect to bridge the pants-to-shorts seasonal gap. However, last time I visited my parents, my Dad said to me, “You know, I could give you some money to buy a full pairs of pants.” I appreciate the offer, but these puppies are staying.
