This weekend was nonstop. I’m not sure where the hours or minutes went between Friday night and now, but I know for certain it wasn’t long enough. To put it in perspective, I’ve only napped about four times in my adult life (I’m not a great midday sleeper). But I added a fifth nap to my list yesterday afternoon. And with temperatures dropping to true fall levels it’s all the more tempting to stay cozied up (read: unproductive). That also means, though, that fuzzy sweaters and winter boots are back in season. So today I’m sharing this simple fall look that combines a denim pencil skirt with bold metallic details. I love the balance of more earthy yet versatile footwear with daintier, feminine details for a comfortable balance.
