I used to want to be Meg Ryan. More specifically, I wanted to be Meg Ryan in “You’ve Got Mail.” I even went so far as to make the highly unfortunate mistake of asking Supercuts for her choppy pixie back in my tweens. I’ve never been more grateful for fast-growing hair than I was after that traumatic incident. But one thing I always remember from that movie is how she talks about daisies being the happiest flower. They’re not my favorite and I don’t usually pick them out from a market, but she’s absolutely right. That’s exactly how I feel about this daisy chain dress. The pattern is flirty and playful on a soft-as-pajamas cotton.
We’re staying local this weekend seeing college friends and catching rays by the pool. And I’ll probably be getting one step closer to the Williams sisters in my tennis skills after another lesson from E on the courts.
