Moment of truth: I’ve traveled to cities all over the world but none make me as nervous as New York City. I have no clue why. There’s no lingering bad experience or anything. And regardless of the number of times I’ve stayed it always makes me uneasy. But the past two days are in a class of their own. First of all, I traveled solo and it felt like a big personal achievement. Second of all, those thirty hours were exhilarating. It was wonderful to put in facetime with people/personalities I’ve only ever known digitally. And connecting with brands felt genuine–like I’m not just far off in blogging-land but really forging relationships. It’s all too soon to fully process but I’m looking forward to decompressing over the weekend. So now I’m prying my eyes open for another work day. This ruffled cotton blouse went with me on the travels and made the perfect statement piece. It may be post-Labor Day but NYFW only proved that wearing white year-round is vogue.
