Every New Englander is waking up this morning fighting a fog of exhaustion and elation. Last night’s Patriots win was one-in-a-million. So as I’m recovering from a chili + cornbread food coma, there’s no better time to bust out this mumu dress. It’s a true vintage piece in that’s it hails from my dad’s childhood years in Egypt. But I love how relevant the simple style and ruffled hem are for current fashion trends. Just a touch of beading at the neckline brings that subtle focal point. And it blends elegant with modern when layered over raw edge denim. Between pregnancy and celebration feasting, I may have found my new favorite look.
