One of my brothers is an incredible gift-giver. Whatever the occasion (graduation, birthday, wedding), he combines generosity with pretty incredible taste and way outdoes himself. And part of the wonder of it is that he honestly loves giving more than receiving. So I’ve learned a lot from him over the years with regards to thoughtfulness in that department. But I’m gushing about this because he recently apologized for giving me a Bloomingdale’s gift card(??). Whatever item he’d ordered went out of stock and I benefited with store credit. So I might as well just make it clear: never has there ever been a good reason to apologize for giving a Bloomingdale’s shopping spree. These Kate Spade pumps went straight into the shopping cart and have barely left my heels since. I played off their classic silhouette with modern fringe details and a spring floral print.
