wide leg culottes

 This past weekend E’s parents came to visit for a night. At one point his mom texted to ask what I was wearing for dinner. I told her culottes and a tank top. Her reaction was so entertaining: she simply couldn’t believe that was truly my planned outfit. Wide leg culottes being back in style seemed too retro-unbelievable. But here they are in living proof. As is my habit when new trends pop up, I waited it out a while. But these pleated white pants were too good to let go. The silhouette is flattering yet comfortable. And a patterned top brought the right touch of modern to the throwback look.
