It’s about the third week of warm weather and I’m still amazed each time I leave the house to sunshine instead of snow piles. My mood is hugely affected by seasons, as well. That’s not something new to me, yet every year (winter into spring) the change almost surprises me. It’s like I forgot just how wonderful the sun feels or the freedom of a flip-flop walk on the beach. So the past few days I’ve been focusing on gratitude. Because sometimes E and I get caught in a rut of not loving the location of our condo or feeling trapped by trafficy commutes. But when I’m five minutes from the sand and surf wearing a weightless caftan, those thoughts drift. Cheers to a weekend looking a whole lot like this.
