I keep a running list in the “Notes” section of my phone for things I am looking to purchase. It is constantly updating and helps to be a structure when I shop. Instead of aimless browsing and spontaneous buying, I have a little guide to say whether or not a purchase is worth making. It lets me mull over an idea before I commit; additionally, it forces me to be patient and wait for the right item to come along. Just recently I crossed two items off the list: coral lipstick and boyfriend jeans.

These rag & bone jeans are my first “boyfriend fit” denim. I’ve been hesitant to settle into the slouchy look. It’s a fine line between baggy and relaxed, but this pair is ideal. They have a soft, worn-in feel but still look feminine with the tapered ankles. The second item from my list, this matte coral lipstick, was a lovely find from the sale section at Anthropologie.
