When I was younger I always mixed friend groups. I wanted school friends to know church friends and vice versa. I didn’t like my life to be compartmentalized. And the same stays true today. So when my sister needed a wedding photographer, I naturally recommended a friend. Well, when I say “friend,” I mean someone I met six years ago while working in California and hadn’t seen since. But the fact that she stayed top of mind goes to show what an impact Tara had. I can’t gush enough. She and her husband Matt own T.C. Engle Photography and capture the most delightful occasions. I couldn’t have felt more honored when she asked to shoot some outfits on her last day in Massachusetts. Her eye for lighting and striking angles makes me wish we lived (much) closer than 3,000 miles apart. Well, that and they are two of the kindest, most loving people you’ll ever meet.
