Yesterday I came across this simple meme: Can we start the weekend over? I wasn’t ready…Amen to that! Two days went by in a blink. A lot of times that happens when we’re overcommitted and under-rested. But luckily I’d just like to do this weekend over again because it was lovely. On Saturday, E whipped me into shape with his tennis skills before we popped over to a classic car show (and wouldn’t you know? my dream car just happened to find me). Sunday then left room for church, brunch at a new local favorite, and readying the house for our week ahead. And while the weather has been quite funky (extremes of cold or humidity), I’ve been relying on this striped tank maxi dress. It’s the best weight for a summer piece but also layers easily. Here I made it work with a blazer vest and heels but come fall I’ll be pulling out the leather booties and denim jacket.
