spring travel style

sharing my spring travel style with a gray hoodie, embroidered shirt, distressed jeans, and blush pink mules

H&M hoodie, Madewell shirt c/o, Paige jeans (sold out, similar here), Gap mules

Over the weekend we took a quick trip to Long Island to visit E’s family. His sister and sweet niece were there so our babies got in some precious bonding. And while it doesn’t cut out much time, we always opt to take the ferry as opposed to driving through New York City. It breaks up the driving and offers us a chance to change positions. Colton was so engaged with all the other ferry riders and even got an older lady to play peek-a-boo. So while this look wouldn’t have worked on the return trip (in pouring, freezing rain), my spring travel style made its debut on Friday. The key for me is layers. Since spring weather errs on the side of unpredictable, it’s best to over-prepare and under-utilize. Going without socks and actually showing my ankles outdoors felt like a victory by itself.

What are some of the first clothing pieces you’re breaking out this spring?
