During our recent trip to Newport we ventured out on the Cliff Walk for an early morning wake-up. It was E’s first time and I hadn’t taken that path in a decade so it felt fresh to us both. And this ruffle bib shift dress was slightly out of place amongst the joggers in spandex. But I scooped it up at the recent Amazon sale and couldn’t resist a chance to wear it. There’s an old world elegance to the ruffling that still feels modern given its shorter length and sheer detailing. Paired with simple slingback flats I was able to balance chic and comfortable.
