My birthday this year was once-in-a-lifetime. Our morning started with an ultrasound, followed by E’s family coming in from out of town, and ended with the most epic gender reveal party planned by my best friend. We had the doctor email the gender to our friend so we wouldn’t know (I’ve never tested my self control so deeply). That let us truly embrace the surprise with a roomful of family + loved ones.
