Easter treats are by far the prettiest. Sweet pastels and sugary decorations make for splendid eye candy. I came across this recipe for Easter Cake Pops (without the pops) and fell in love with the idea of funfetti in bite-sized portions.
Now let me give a small disclaimer: this recipe is very simple but it is time-consuming. The process has multiple, long steps. The cake first has to be baked before it is mushed, remolded, and finally coated. But don’t let that deter you, because the final product is marvelous.
These yummy Easter bites keep well and make a delightful addition to the dessert table.
