This past week has been a smattering of dreary days and limited sunshine. While I’m incredibly grateful the snow has held off, I still get that same winter nesting feeling. My outfits have trended toward classic casual with just enough layers to beat the moderate chill. Also, I’m noticing recently that this checked pattern has taken over a lot of my wardrobe since fall. I love it’s timeless appeal. Contrasted with more playful sneakers, the elegant sweater top immediately gets toned down. So for a mid-week look I’m still leaning on a chic knit with distressed boyfriend denim.
